The activities :
At the heart of the IDENTITY Project lies a diverse set of activities that combine creativity, civic engagement, and cultural celebration. The flagship initiative, the European Unity Fest, was held in Veria, Greece, and brought together more than 300 participants from five countries. Through a curated program of performances, local food showcases, and storytelling, the festival became a living expression of European solidarity.
Street Plays, under the thematic umbrella “Stories from Every Corner”, served as a cornerstone of the project’s outreach. These community-rooted theatrical presentations explored themes of identity, migration, youth voice, and democratic values—offering emotionally resonant, inclusive, and empowering narratives.
The project also featured Dialogue Circles and Panels, which created safe spaces for open discussion among youth, civil society actors, and local authorities. These sessions tackled issues such as belonging, civic participation, and inclusion, emphasizing bottom-up engagement.
Complementing these events were Cultural Exchange Workshops—interactive experiences that invited participants to learn traditional crafts, cook regional recipes, share music, and engage with heritage practices. These workshops served as bridges between generations, regions, and identities.
Together, these activities foster a pan-European space of shared understanding, creative expression, and civic commitment.
